Mandala Pooja is considered to be an important ritual which is observed at the Ayyappa Temples all over India and abroad. The day of Mandala Pooja marks the end of the 41 days long austerity known as Mandala Kalam that is observed by the followers or devotees of Lord Ayyappa. The 41 days fast begins on the first day of Vrischik Masam which is starting from November 17 and it will end on twelfth day of Dhanu Masam
